A note from CEO Chuck Brown

Dear Friend,

The year just keeps flying by! Here we are in October, about to head into the holiday season. To make sure you don't lose your edge among all the parties and vacations, I'll be sharing some tips to help you stay productive and maybe even find new ways to use tools you already have access to.

October is also National Cyber Security Awareness Month so look for Homeland Security resources on our social media pages. Hurricane Season continues through November 30th (don't shoot the messenger) so keep your emergency plans handy and find planning tips here.

On a lighter note, you may have caught my recent radio debut—if not, see below—and I'll be speaking at the Chamber's Power Hour lunch November 7th. If not there, I hope to see you somewhere else soon.

All the best,

News You Can Use
"Unified Communications" may seem like a fancy phrase for a simple concept (keeping in touch), but we use it because it means so much more than just 'phones.' It includes calls, chat, group messaging, flexibility, and savings.
So if you haven't thought about your business phone system in a while, click the image for a fresh perspective.

Inside Infinity
Don't Touch that Dial
Did you hear Chuck on the radio? Infinity was recently featured on WRUU's Savannah Business Showcase with Terrass Misher, and it is well worth the listen, both funny and informative. Bonus: see behind-the-scenes photos here.
Thank You, Cleland!
Already part of the Infinity family for more than a decade, Cleland Site Prep recently upgraded to our LifeCycle program for fully managed services. Our staff loved going out to their office and seeing photos of the amazing projects they've done.
Say it Right
In September, Infinity proudly sponsored the CFO Council meeting (see photos here) where communications expert Mary Nestor gave helpful tips on how to have delicate conversations with better results. Next up: Chamber Power Hour on Nov. 7th.

Tech Tip:

If you spend as much time with emails as we do, then anything to cut that down is a good thing.

O365 users can save time writing emails in Outlook by skipping the To: field. Go right to the message and use the Mention feature. Simply type the "@" symbol and the person's name as you write your email. Outlook will pull your contact into the message and automatically add it to the To: field.
Watch this short video to see it in action.
